
The Washington Nationals may have won 6-5 in 10 innings(thanks Arthur Rhodes) last night’s game to prevent the Phillies sweep, but Ryan Howard ensured the night would not be forgotten with a blast to dead center field that traveled over 443 feet of true distance. He also got on base all 5 times he was up last night, and continues his march towards the MVP award.
Who would have thought that he would have done this in only his second season? I’m sure most of us thought he could hit 50 once or twice in his career, but not this fast, and not with this much time left in the season. Congrats Ryan, now shoot for 50!
