Yesterday’s 13-6 massare of the Atlanta Braves was fueled by two bombs from 1B Ryan Howard. He also singled and walked, and raised his OPS 80 points in ONE GAME. His average leaped 20 points. Anybody who was previously worried about the man should now have had their fears soothed. He looked like a monster at the plate, willing and able to hit any pitch thrown over the plate.
Whatever clicked…watch out folks. He’s going to go on a tear right…about….now.

If indeed the real Ryan Howard is back and ready to step up…watch out! The Phils already have the best offense in the NL and now it looks to become even better.

O.K, as of right now, Hoaward is on track to hit 46hrs if he has the same 581 AB as last season. He’s averaged 12.6 hr’s per at bat thus far, during which he hasn’t swung the bat as well due to a nagging injury that he finally got some rest from. So now, after 15 days of waiting, it already seems fitting to say that that ongoing injury was the major cuase for his lack of performance at the plate. He’s now up to 225 bat average and has 9 hr’s (3 in the last two games). And last night he went to the opposite field, somethign he hasn’t been doing all season (i believe) because of his physical condition, so watch out METS and BRAVES…Garcia is slowly pitching back into a groove and Eaton has finally given us a sign that he’s a major leage pitcher…Now, if the gods bless with some kind of solid middle relieve pitcher, there’s no FUCKING reason Myers can’t go back to truly being the Phillies ACE (because he is, I love Hamels, but Myers is the one to lead this rotation
