Comment Here If You Miss Scott Graham

9 Apr

Larry Andersen is horrible without him, Gary Matthews is off to a horrible start, and Chris Wheeler is just horrible. Let’s not even mention how out of it Harry seems thus far. And Franzke? ZZZZZ

BRING BACK GRAHAM! He made Phillies baseball exciting, even in blowouts. He also developed quite a rapport on the radio with Larry Anderson at the end of games, so much so that I found myself going to the radio more than TV to check out the last 3 innings of games. The new setup is just WRETCHED.

I miss Scott Graham.

previously talked about here: link   BTW, Chris Wheeler4 HOF Action Blog has been updated with a slightly different take on the announcing situation

I miss Scott Graham! At the last two photo days, he and LA were the only two of the announcing team who acted like they actually wanted to be there, and both years Scott Graham stopped to chat for no apparent reason other than he had an anecdote to tell.

I don’t bother with the TV crew anymore at all. What’s really sad is that the radio delay runs on average about 10 seconds. And it’s still better than listening to Gary “I’ve got marbles in my mouth” Matthews.

It could be worse. You could be watching all the games on, where it’s always the other team’s broadcast with the other team’s homers.

“Yeah, Jimmy Rollins, that just goes to show, you should keep your mouth shut and just play the game.”

I am pissed at the phillies! Matthews is ok, wheels sucks and Harry Kalas is obviously, well, Harry Kalas. Franzke is pretty good, but it will not be the same without the Anderson-Graham innings. There’s a rumor that Wheels made some behind the scenes deals to get Graham kicked off instead of him. Who knows?

This is ridiculous. I think someone who works with the phillies who has the power to fire anouncers didn’t like Scott Grahm. I always thought of him as the second voice of the phillies. {Below Hary Callous} The Phillies should be ashaimed of themselves
