Roger Federer Wins At The Masters Cup…Again

19 Nov

The Swedish superstar defeated 6th ranked David Ferrer 6-2 6-3 6-2 in Shanghai, China to claim his 4th Masters in the past 5 years. Mr. Federer quickly went through the top men’s tennis players, discarding of Andy Roddick and Rafael Nadal before meeting Ferrer in the finals. Federer’s game showed absolutely no holes, and even his opponents were in awe of his work:

“He’s playing very, very well,” Ferrer said in a bit of an understatement. “He has no weak point.”

Yeah, pretty much. The best player in the world is setting himself up to be the best of all-time, as he is within one Masters Cup victory of Ivan Lendl and Pete Sampras, two of the best ever. He’s also sitting at 12 Grand Slam titles, only 2 behind Sampras for the all-time lead. And he’s only 26. Hell, the man’s been ranked #1 since 2004. Lebron James may have the Nike commercials proclaiming it, but Federer is truly the one that should be witnessed.
